Mowing Area Per Charge Calculator
Estimate how much lawn a cordless mower can cut on one charge.
Estimate how much lawn a cordless mower can cut on one charge. It uses the pack energy (Ah × V = Wh), how hard your grass is to cut, and how fast you mow. Everything is worked out in your browser. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere.
1. Your mower's batteries
Twin-pack mowers use two packs at once. Count both.
2. Your mower and your grass
A guess is fine. Long, thick or wet grass and slopes push the draw up a lot.
Sets the mower's average draw in watts.

How it was worked out
What this does and doesn't tell you
- This is a rough estimate. Real area depends on the grass, the ground, turning, overlap and the mower itself.
- The area allows 20% for overlap and turning, so the mower covers more ground than the lawn area shown.
- Slopes and self-propelled drive add to the draw. Choose a heavier grass setting to allow for them.
- Lithium-ion packs can overheat and catch fire if they're damaged or charged on the wrong charger. Only use the maker's charger, and recycle any pack that is swollen, burnt, leaking or crushed.
