About Cordless Revival

Revived. Rebuilt. Ready To Go.

Cordless Revival is the bench of the Bush & Bench family. It covers cordless battery packs for every kind of equipment, from drills and impact drivers to lawn mowers, chainsaws, blowers and trimmers, and the workshop skills around them. The aim is to help you save money, learn something new, and keep good tools and batteries out of landfill.

Revived. Rebuilt. Ready To Go.

That's the motto, and it's how every guide is built. Revived: find the real fault before replacing anything, and bring the pack back to life. Rebuilt: do the job properly with the right parts and checks. Ready To Go: get the tool working again, or recycle the pack safely when it's past saving.

Who it's for

How guides are written

Guides explain how to work out the problem rather than handing out one-size-fits-all fixes. Technical details are checked against manufacturer documentation and applicable Australian requirements.

Battery safety

Lithium-ion batteries store a lot of energy and can catch fire or explode if they're damaged, shorted or badly repaired. Opening or rebuilding a pack may void its warranty, and some packs shouldn't be repaired at all. Work on a non-flammable surface, never charge a battery you're unsure about unattended, and recycle damaged batteries at an approved drop-off point rather than putting them in the bin.

How the site makes money

Some guides may include affiliate links to tools, testers or parts. If you buy through one, the site may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are always disclosed on the page where they appear.
